Raymond is a Co-Founder of Innovent Labs Africa, a firm providing Business Development Services and technical advisory focusing on Innovation Management, Intellectual Property Management, Standards Compliance, and Public Scaling of Solutions.

Raymond is also a civil servant currently working with the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development as an Energy Officer – Electrical Generation in the Electric Power Department. Prior to this, he served as a Science Officer, Innovations & IP Management in the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation. Raymond has contributed to various institutional policy development work such as the National IP Policy (2019) and building institutional capacity on Innovation and IP management.

He is passionate about empowering local innovators and Small & Growing Businesses (SGBs) to benefit from the expanding African market occasioned by Regional Economic Communities and the AfCFTA. Raymond holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering (MUK), a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management (UMI), and multiple certifications in Intellectual Property & Innovation Management.
