Ian Lumonya Oguli is a highly accomplished professional with a passion for economic prosperity in Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Uganda Christian University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. Additionally, he is a certified Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst from the Chartered Finance Institute. He holds a certificate in Real Estate Sales from the In-depth Research Institute Kenya.
Ian’s leadership skills were honed during his time as the Head Prefect at King’s College Budo and as the Vice President of the Uganda Secondary Schools Prefects Association. Ian has also demonstrated his writing and public speaking skills by being the National Runner-up in the DSTV Eutelsat Essay Writing Contest 2015 and a finalist in the 2014 Wilder Public Speaking Contest in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ian’s professional career has been characterized by outstanding performance and a strong work ethic. He spent two years in the Distribution Department of Sanlam Life Insurance, where he joined as a Sales Executive and was rapidly promoted to Agency Sales Leader within five months. He was eventually promoted to Business Development Consultant and was responsible for leading a team of four Agency Sales Leaders and 30 agents, driving insurance sales for the company around the country.
Currently, Ian works at the National Social Security Fund in the Investments Department as a Real Estate Sales Officer. He brings his deep passion for sales, investment, and the law to this role.
